“Who is Juneberry??”

When you look at this page and see my photos, I would like you to know what makes me tick and why I do what I do. I want you to see why I love my job and what I most want to convey in my imagery. So here it is…my “bio.”

My name is Jessie, I have a husband that makes me a better version of myself…when he walks into a room, I instantly feel more at ease. I am an introvert masquerading as an extrovert. I have 3 of the most spirited kids that keep me on my toes and teach me what real, messy, complicated, joyful, unconditional love is everyday. I believe in a God that gives me hope and knowledge that through Him, we will all get the chance to be redeemed from the things that hold us down.

I love nature and the beauty that surrounds us everyday. My vacation of choice would be to sit on a deck somewhere overlooking a beautiful lake, sipping a glass of wine and snuggling in a blanket (I have an obsession with blankets … I have them on me even when its summer). I love live music and a band that can play a mean mandolin!;)Wandering through antique/thrift stores is a weekly ritual for me and I love finding items that can make me feel nostalgic. I am kid when it comes to Disneyland! I desperately wanted to become an illustrator for dear ol’ Walt when I was growing up. I also have a thing for Broadway musicals and probably would have tried out for Julliard if I had any ability to dance, sing, or act (which unfortunately I don’t);)I will stand content to just enjoy the amazing people who are able to do those things.

I am a dork at heart and believe we take ourselves way too seriously these days. I think this uncanny ability to make a fool out of myself makes me a great child photographer. I love to make kids laugh, even if it is at my expense. I look for real reactions and goofy giggles to capture. I take great pride in the fact that I can bring out smiles in even the shyest of toddlers and make their personality shine. You won’t see my bragging much about how awesome I am but I will say, I love what I do and I have a way with little people. I love to make my clients feel at ease and believe that the best photos are those where true emotion is captured. Never will you hear me telling you to “say cheese” or asking you to do “the prom pose.” All I ask is that you bring your wonderful self and I will bring my “A” game and together, we can capture life, love, and make believe as beautifully as possible.
